I served this on Xmas Eve to a bunch of people who didn't like brussel sprouts. I think I have converted all of them. Every single bit was demolished by only 4 people (I did make only 2 lbs. instead of 4 but it was amazingly delicious.

Love this dish. I first prepared this for Thanksgiving 2010. Family and guests requested it be added to the traditional menu - even someone who had been grimacing before taking a taste. This Christmas Eve eve we're having a dinner party - during menu planning this is first the side dish suggested by my son and husband. Holidays are not the only time to serve this savory dish.

Made this for Thanksgiving dinner. Was a Big hit. However, next time I won't bake them as long. The sprouts lost their nice color.
Still tasted good, however. Would make this again. Also a nice make-ahead recipe.

Amazing recipe... I blew everyone away at Thanksgiving with this recipe thank you so much. People who said they didn't like the sprout tried this dish and loved it. I think my husband won't eat brussels sprouts any other way now. The red wine vinegar and the brown sugar were a great combination gave the vegs a great flavor.

Too greasy! Use olive oil and maybe a bit of bacon fat. I tried the balsamic vinegar and halved version. I'm going to try again without the balsamic which seemed to overwhelm the brussels sprouts, and alot less oil. A bit of EVOO and the bacon, but not the bacon fat.

I made this for Turkey Day 2009 and it was a hit! Looking forward to doing it again for 2010. I used frozen brussels sprouts (2 bags worth, nuked them in the microwave and this dish was just as yummy as if my sprouts were fresh off the vine (well, almost :>. thanks Robert!
