This stuffing is absolutely delicious! We have been making it for Thanksgiving for the past 3 years and we get nothing but rave reviews from all who taste it. Now it's requested every year. We even substitute out veggie sausage crumbles for my vegetarian husband and it is just as wonderful! The recipe makes a lot but you won't have any problem giving away the leftovers because your guests will fight over them!

This recipe is nothing shorter than amazing. I am not by any means a stuffing lover...but this stuffing was AWESOME! My now husband made it last year at our apartment and this year he will make it at our house. Thank you soooo much for sharing such a great recipe. Shana

I knew by reading this Robert Irvine recipe it would be GREAT and it was. I made it for the first time for Christmas day. I made it ahead of time, placed it in a foil pan and covered it overnight. On Christmas day, I pulled it out and baked it uncovered as directed. It was the star of the show along with my husband's turkey. Stuffing was moist, flavorful and colorful... YUM. Thank you Robert Irvine and FoodNetwork.

The BEST stuffing EVER! Everyone I had for Thanksgiving agrees this was amazing, even the kids couldn't get enough. After making the whole thing, I decided it did need some extra bread cubes & used the turkey drippings toward the end of baking to add flavor and moisture. Can't wait to make it again

O...M...G!!!!!! I have tasted some great food, but NOTHING comes close to this! I made it yesterday because I wanted to try a new stuffing recipe that I could use to replace the same old, same old. I could eat every bite of the huge amount it made, & my husband, who is pretty set in his ways when it comes to traditional holiday dishes, agreed. My house & my fridge smell AMAZING! I'm going to go freeze what's left before I gain back the 45 lbs. it's taken me 6 mos. to lose. This is a VERY dangerous recipe...store up on your willpower before you make it!!!! But DO make it! Thank you, Robert!

This is the second year that we have made this stuffing for our thanksgiving dinner. My family could not wait to make it again after it was raved about last year. We made the stuffing with Jennie O's sweet italian turkey sausage instead of italian sausage. You couldnt even tell the difference. Overall, a moist and delicious stuffing especially if you are trying to watch a few calories on that special day :

My old German family has passed downed giblet stuffing for generations, but my daughters (now 8 and 11 still won't touch it. I wanted to find a stuffing recipe for Thanksgiving that they would eat, hoping to get them liking stuffing. This recipe was so unbelieveably delicious. I have never seen leeks in stuffing before, and they really added so much. I did make the mistake of adding too much sage (I had two glasses of wine before I started making this the night before : So I just added some more bread cubes to soak up some of the seasoning. We will be making this for holidays down the line. Hopefully someday I can replace the sausage with giblets. But if not, oh well!

Absolutely the best!! Made it on Thanksgiving day to 'soak' overnight in refrigerator and served for holiday dinner on Friday night. Was a hit! Wonderful flavors and textures. Served 10 but had some leftover; total servings close to 13. It's a new holiday staple from now on. Thanks Robert.

This recipe is a WINNER!! I made it for Thanksgiving, for both my family and my husband's family. Both families drooled over it!! It really is a delicious stuffing - and both sides of the family asked if this could be "my dish" for every Thanksgiving! The grocery store by me only had 6 leeks left, so that is all I used in the recipe and it turned out fantastic. I also used turkey stock to give it a richer flavor. The combination of sausage, cranberries, apples, and the fresh herbs are to die for! Yum!!!
