Simple and delicious, this stuffing went over well with everybody. We ran out and I ended up making a second batch for my leftovers. Save yourself the trouble and make a double batch. You won't be disappointed.

Wowy wow wow wow. I made this recipe for the first time this past Christmas for my annual Christmas party. I usually make the boxed stuff and wanted to make some real stuffing this year. Needless to say, it was a hit. Everyone loved it and wanted the recipe (which I wouldn't divulge... hey, this is MY find!, and I will be making it every year from now on. It was so good that my husband, who doesn't usually like stuffing, loved it. And even though it made a TON, is was SOOO good that we both ate it every day after the party until it was gone, and we don't usually like leftovers. This recipe is DA BOMB! Its full of flavor and just fills your house with an amazing smell. I'm making some today! :

I love my mom' s sausage stuffing but this recipe turned it up a notch. I love the addition of apples and cranberries. I, also like some reviewers, cut it in half and it was still tons of stuffing. I loved it!

These came out very well ... a bit labor-intensive so not sure if I'd make them again. If I so, I'd add less stock (guess I'm with Robert on liking my stuffing a little less moist.
And would definitely cut the recipe in half ... this is supposed to be for SIX people, LOL? I could have had twelve people and still had leftovers.

I made this stuffing for the first time and it cam out wonderful. I did not use leeks because I did not have any, I only used 4 celery stalks, and I used chicken broth instead of vegetable stock. It came out delicious. I also did not measure my stock, i free poured until i got the consistency I was going for. I absolutely love this recipe. It is better than the same old cornbread stuffing we make every year. You wont be dissappointed. Thanks Rob!
