This quick simple snack was so wonderful. I used strawberries instead and it was great. This is definitely a new recipe to my cookbook.

I made this for New Year's morning breakfast and it was the best French toast I've ever eaten! We'll definitely be making this again. I used lighter ingredients because that's what we had on hand. (skim milk, light cream cheese, etc. Italian bread worked well too.

I just made this for Christmas morning brunch and it was delicious. I used my usual custard (eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar, and cinnammon and instead of cranberries I used chocolate chips. It was a winner!

This is just great the way it is. I don't mind mike and eggs mixed together. This is easy and a great change from the regular French toast. Good on you Robert!!!!

I have never cared for the egg coating on French toast when just using egg and milk. I use more milk than egg, beat into it some sugar, vanilla, a pinch of salt, a dash of flour, some cinnamon, and then dip the bread into it. It is scrumptious! Use it for plain French toast, or for this recipe.
