This was so easy to put together and make, it was fluffy and the right flavor and amount of cinnamon. It was quick and simple, and was a total hit!

I made this french toast recipe for my husband for Father's Day and it was amazing. The egg mixture had just the right flavor and the challah bread I used soaked it up wonderfully. It made 8 large pieces of french toast, just as the recipe indicated it would....the challah was the perfect bread to use. Very soft and delicious. We definitely will NOT wait until Father's Day next year to make this recipe again!

I took this recipe and cut every thing in half, cooking only for myself. It still came out perfect. You can even substitute one piece of thick sliced egg bread for two slices of regular bread. This is a weekly breakfast for me now!

The ingredients and ratios were just right, and came together quickly. I used regular sliced sandwich bread which cooked all the way through, and had a perfect light crisp on the outside. This recipe is definitely a ?do again.?

When I was a little girl, my sister had a kid's cook book from Scholastic that had a great recipe for french toast. I'm now all grown up with 5 children, and I've been searching for a recipe that comes close to the one my sister used to make when we were kids............and it has been quite a search...........................until now. This recipe is it!!!!!! Thanks so much..........my family adores this recipe. I make it with thick cut "french toast" style bread from the supermarket and it's perfect. A definite WOW from us! :

I haven't bothered making french toast because I thought it would be too much work. My father in-law (who has been a chef at IHOP makes us great french toast, but this time I think iI won him over with this recipe. My husband loved it 9and he always compares my cooking to his fatghers and the kids ate every bite. It was perfect!

For breakfast my husband usually wants bacon and eggs. He surprised me one morning by asking for french toast. I didn't want to make just the "standard" french toast so I looked up some recipes on the Food Network and found this one. It's AWESOME! So quick to make and delicious. I had some real maple syrup left over from Christmas that I had used to roast our turkey with. The warm maple syrup on top of the french toast is to die for. I will certainly be making this version again very soon.
