We love French toast and this recipe helped to liven up taste buds! It is simple to make and takes a lot less time than the suggested time on the website. We can make and eat French toast in about 10 minutes! We add a little more milk and use whatever bread we have on hand (usually whole wheat. It's great if you have some dry bread at the end of the loaf. We have made this a family favorite! YUM!

I made this recipe for my girlfriends and their kids for brunch and it was a home run. The ratios were perfect and the taste was wonderful. After frying up the toasts I placed them in a 225 degree oven to stay warm until my guests arrived and it was a fantastic meal. Not too sweet, wonderful touch of cinnamon and vanilla. The kids loved them. Thank you Robert for my new go-to recipe.

I make this almost every morning (: hehe. Not so much on the healthy side, but oh well! I suggest trying it with almond extract instead of vanilla extract. I substituted one day when I ran out of vanilla extract. The almond extract definitely adds a bit something extra. So gooood. Oh and definitely warm the maple syrup!

I made this on a whim because I had a craving and the recipe was amazing! The combination of spices and flavors was perfect. I used a thinner sandwich bread, so I might plan ahead and use a thicker bread next time. I was afraid that the bread was going to be soggy but no way Jose, it was fluffy on the inside and crispy on the edges. And to top it all off, it all came together so quickly!

Unbelievably easy to make and an explosion of flavor in my mouth. I kicked it up a notch and made it with cinnamon swirl blueberry bread (bought it at Trader Joes and it was unbelievable. I didn't even need syrup!. I'm sipping my coffee and eating my delicious french toast as I'm typing this. Thank you for this recipe!

My husband loved the french toast, which says a lot simply because he is not a "breakfast person." Thank you for a great recipe!!

My husband and I thought the french toast was good, but definately not the best. We were looking for something with a little more flavor, but overall, it was still OK.
