Delicious! I made these for my entire family and they all loved them. They did take longer to cook than anticipated and I had to bump the oven up to 425 to get them done. I too used more butter than it called for but still delicious. I basted them about 3-4 times. Definetely will make them again! Thanks!

These were pretty good? I saw Robert making these on the show and decided to try tem. I KNOW the block of butter was more then 1/3 cup. I am thinking it was 1/3 lb. I used bigger potatoes so it took longer. I would make again with just more butter

Yum. My potatoes were bigger, so they took a full hour to cook. I made 3. I used a stick of butter, plus parsley and chives, and I basted the potatoes 3 times - first when they went into the oven, again after 30 minutes, again, 20 minutes after that when I added the cheese. Super good. The big money item is the cheese that bakes on the pan and makes a frico. That is a delicious crispy treat in and of itself. I'll make this again. Not often, but again!

my adult daughter came downstairs and said they were the best potatoes she ever had. I gave my husband one and when i came back downstairs I saw he had eaten another half. Needless to say, a big hit. I used the cheeses he used but can't wait to make again using different mixes of cheese. I read the reviews about the oven temp and cook time so even with the oven at 425 it took about an hour. My potatoes were closer to10-11 oz., but still, his potatoes must have been pretty small to cook that quickly. Halfway through cooking, I melted more butter (barely had enough originally-next time will make dbl butter mixture and added salt and garlic powder and brushed that on them-wanted to keep them moist. A great alternative to baked or twice baked potatoes.

OMG!!! these are the best potatoes I have made in a very long time!! Cooking time differed from what was said in the recipe but oh boy do these hit the spot. My husband is a very picky eater and he raved about these. Will definitely make these again and again.
