I love this recipe! It has become one of my new favorite quick and easy pasta dishes. It is versatile, filling, and easy to make. I made a couple of substitutions though. I used a pound of shrimp rather than the chicken and since I couldn't find broccoli rabe in my produce section, I used two bunches of Swiss Chard. The lemony flavor of the Swiss chard combined with the shrimp was delicious. The second time I made this dish I added a couple of tablespoons of capers. Love this dish and will continue to make it and experiment with different greens!

My only suggestion is to use a different green. I had never had Broccoli Rabe, paid who knows how much for it and it was awful....terribly bitter. I love experimenting with new flavors & colors, but seriously, next time I will be using spinach. Our young kids, who have never picked thru my adventurous cooking were absolutely terrified after trying the broccoli rabe. It took over the entire flavor of the meal. Otherwise the sundried tomatoes, feta & olive combo - YUMMO.

When someone talks about a recipe being 5 ingredients or less - that includes seasoning and oils. Oils add calories and fat to a meal.
So when she made this meal - I counted 10 not 5 ingredients.
    Chicken - 1
    oil from tomatoes - 2
    sundried tomatoes - 3
    olives - 4
    feta - 5
    brocolli rabe - 6
water from pasta ( which has starch from pasta - 7
    salt - 8
    pepper - 9
    capellini - 10

Still a good meal but not 5 ingredients

Actually, it's the first time I cook broccoli rabe, and it was BITTER! Other than that, the dish was allright, but everyone put their broccoli politely on the side. Be careful!

Looks good, but not a "5 ingredient or less" dish...

I see 6 ingredients. Is she not counting the pasta as an ingredient? Why use the pasta and not count it?

I have to say this may be my least favorite Robin Miller recipe. I was so excited about this recipe because it looked and sounded so healthy and light. . . and it just ended up being bland and something I'd never make again. was it easy? Sure, but it wasn't very tasty either.

When I saw this episode I just knew I had to try it. I omitted the olives (hubby doesn't like and instead of using broccoli rabe just added fresh basil from the garden, kept everything else the same. Served over left over spaghetti - Delicious! As mentioned by others, the sundried tomato oil is absolutely key.
