Remove membrane and add a rub:
If the steak has a membrane covering one (or both? side(s, remove with a sharp knife!
Add a rub to the steak before cooking:
1 tsp. fresh thyme (scrape with leaves off the stem and chop
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. salt
Cut steak it into 4 oz. serving pieces so it can be cooked to the preferred doneness of the eaters. BBQ or panfry. 4 mins per side, less for rare.

My hubby LOVES this recipe and requests it all the time. It was even the first meal he asked for after returning from his deployment to Iraq! It is so quick and easy to make and is always our go to weeknight meal.

I took this simple salad to a dinner party where there were several salads. Mine was the only one gone at the end of the evening. (I served it as a side dish so I omitted the steak. It was so easy to prepare but the flavors are terrific.

Prepared this recipe for my family and everyone loved it including my fussy husband. The dressing was very tasty and light. Will definitely keep this recipe and make again and again.

My family loved this salad! It was easy and extremely tasty. I love making my own salad dressings now, thanks to Robin. I added a red bell pepper for color. I'll make this over and over.
Thanks,
Shanna
