This was awesome! I couldn't find soba noodles but linguini worked just fine. I skipped the snap peas and scallions for my crowd but nothing suffered. The leftovers are definitely getting some broccoli added for a new meal tomorrow. Will make again!

Very nice taste, although not enough beef for me, even though I'm not really big on meat (usually I like more rice and potatoes instead of meat. It has a nice flavor, although next time I think I'll reduce the sauce a bit more to make it a little thicker.

Super delicious, and so fast and easy. I didn't have leftover meat, so I just sliced a raw london broil steak (it's the cheapest paper thin and cooked it first in canola oil. Then I went ahead with the rest. Very affordable. I threw some frozen peas in at the same time as the carrots, too. And I just used linguini noodles, not soba. Also, I followed some of the advice here and finished with sesame oil rather than starting with it.

I used regular thin spaghetti pasta which worked just fine. I'm not that nuts about soba. Other than that, it was great! The smells were awesome, and I used a microplane to prepare the ginger root and garlic. I put a little arrowroot into the sauce to thicken it a little and that is really the only change other than the type of noodle. We loved it.

It was pretty bad. I had a bad feeling about it even before cooking because it was soba and not egg noodles. They taste different cause soba isn't made from eggs so it tasted different. There's a reason why chinese people use egg noodles and not soba. I will never make this again.

My boyfriend have little to 0 experience with cooking but together we made this on our first date. It was fun, simple, easy to follow, and we had and great time making it together, not to mention it tasted fantastic. It made for a lovely evening all in all.

My 7 year old who is a very picky eater absolutely loved this dish. My whole family gobbled it up leaving no leftovers. We'll be making this again real soon.

I made this recipe tonight as a side to go with our Asian Ribs. I did not include the beef or pea pods. Instead I added brocolli and red pepper. It had a wonderful flavor! The kids loved it as well as my husband! Can't wait to try it with the beef!
