This meal was excellent with the unique combination of vegetables and presentation. My husband thought so highly of it, that he conversed with the ladies in his lab about it. He never does this. Totally impressed, thanks.

It smells amazinggggggg. It's been in for about 3 1/2 hours on high and the meat is already browning. I love Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar, so I think the maple syrup sauce will be really good. The Celeriac didn't look good at the store so I used celery instead, and I don't like turnips so I meant to put carrots in but I forgot! I think any root vegetables will be good in this. And I can't wait for the empanadas tomorrow!

I love slow cooker meals, just put it together and leave it. Delicious and easy, will make again.

I have a teenage grandson that has never liked roast beef. He ate 3 helping of the meat still no veggies but we'll keep working at it. I loved it and easy too.

But I couldn't taste the sauce as much as I thought, so next time I'll make sure to spoon extra on my plate. My husband liked it as well, and he usually doesn't like roasts. I love the idea of quick fix meals and "morphing" ingredients, it's such a timesaver and great idea! However, I must say, I don't care for Robin's new look. She looks too thin, and I don't care for her new set, it just doesn't feel as "homey" as on the older shows.

Well, I'm cooking the recipe now so I'm not sure about how it tastes just yet, but I wanted to point something out, I thought when I watched this on tv you had to have 2 cans of chicken broth. If I'm correct this part was left out of the online recipe.

Since when did it become polite to talk with your mouth full? On TV no less. Please stop! It is gross.
