this was a good recipe, however the beer batter combination was not the best, would use just beer and flour next time the baking powder was not needed. however the red pepper orange topping was very strange until it met the fish and then BAM! A host of wonderful flavor...will do this also as fish taco...

Batter is great!!! You can use it for chicken, shrimp, and other fishes too.

This was so easy, and the fish had a wonderful crunch to it. Loved it!

I poached my fish instead of using the beer batter but used the mandarin orange sauce and it was delicious! I almost think the fabulous taste of the sauce would have been lost on a fried fish.

We are gluten intolerant on our family so I subst gluten free all purpose flour. Also I had just gotten a fresh delivery of flounder so I decided to try it with that. I had siracha sauce but decided to check the international isle and sure enough found red chili paste. Man was that sauce delicious!!! The fish turned pit perfect, except next time I'll probably cut some puncture holes in it to better absorb the s&p if I use a thick cut fish again. this is a wonderful dish for celiacs and/or lactose intolerant folks! Thankyou so much!

Very Easy and fast, combined this with a Tartar Sauce. Talapia with batter and tartar sauce was a big hit. Also used batter to make onion rings, these went over well too. Like I said earlier, fairly easy and quick. Season fish to taste before coating with flour and batter. I like fish spicy so added this before coating and it was great. Really liked this recipe.

Very Good! I could never fry my way out of a paper bag but this recipe is great - I double dipped my fish and it came out very nice and crunchy. The sauce is perfect.

Fantastic recipe! Best batter recipe I have found so far. Took another reviewers input on using two egg whites instead of one egg. Substituted mango for orange. Make sure oil is hot enough otherwise fish will be greasy and batter does not cook as well on the inside. A sort of crispy gooey texture.

Absolutely delicious fish. I altered this recipe a bit and made a mango salsa to top the fish with instead of the orange sauce. This absolutely rocked and the mango salsa set it off!!
