I poached my fish instead of using the beer batter but used the mandarin orange sauce and it was delicious! I almost think the fabulous taste of the sauce would have been lost on a fried fish.

We are gluten intolerant on our family so I subst gluten free all purpose flour. Also I had just gotten a fresh delivery of flounder so I decided to try it with that. I had siracha sauce but decided to check the international isle and sure enough found red chili paste. Man was that sauce delicious!!! The fish turned pit perfect, except next time I'll probably cut some puncture holes in it to better absorb the s&p if I use a thick cut fish again. this is a wonderful dish for celiacs and/or lactose intolerant folks! Thankyou so much!

Very Easy and fast, combined this with a Tartar Sauce. Talapia with batter and tartar sauce was a big hit. Also used batter to make onion rings, these went over well too. Like I said earlier, fairly easy and quick. Season fish to taste before coating with flour and batter. I like fish spicy so added this before coating and it was great. Really liked this recipe.

Very Good! I could never fry my way out of a paper bag but this recipe is great - I double dipped my fish and it came out very nice and crunchy. The sauce is perfect.

Fantastic recipe! Best batter recipe I have found so far. Took another reviewers input on using two egg whites instead of one egg. Substituted mango for orange. Make sure oil is hot enough otherwise fish will be greasy and batter does not cook as well on the inside. A sort of crispy gooey texture.

Absolutely delicious fish. I altered this recipe a bit and made a mango salsa to top the fish with instead of the orange sauce. This absolutely rocked and the mango salsa set it off!!

So tasty and simple to make. Batter was great. Just wanted to make a note, on the show she used 2 egg whites which made the batter fluffy. The pan was about 3/4 full of oil @350 degrees. Will definately make this again .

The flavor of the beer batter as well as the sauce was fantastic. I loved it. The only reason why I took away one star was because the beer batter didn't seem to stick well onto the fish when I put it into fry. Unfortunately, half of the batter came off of the fish so I will need to do some adjusting to that myself. Other than that, great recipe.
