Just for the fun of it I used this sauce on some steak I cooked on the grill. It turned out to be a very nice dish and the taste was out of this world!

My husband loves fried fish and he was so excited when I made this dish. He was a bit skeptical at the sauce, but he loved it. I don't think the chili sauce I used was the right kind because it wasn't spicy enough. I would definitely make this again. I do feel that the amount of oil you have to use is a bit of a waste though.

We skipped the beer batter and just lightly dredged the tilapia in panko to keep the calories down. It was delicious! We like a little more "sting" so will add a bit more red chile paste the next time we make it. Will also try the sauce on grilled chicken too.

The batter was one of the best I've ever made at home; very light! (The relatively small amount of oil used was also easy on my pocket book. The sauce was good. I would definately add a little seasoning to the sauce...definitely some salt. Hubby confirmed the recipe is a keeper.
