I love stuffed burgers but always hated making them by hand. It?s so messy! I found a stuffed burger maker on line called the burger pocket press. I tried it with this recipe with a few tweaks and the burger was awesome.

I made this tonight but with a few changes that turned out delicious:1grilled the burgers--just gives more flavor 2 used gorgonzola crumbles and i loaded them in 3 double (maybe double plus half the poultry seasoning and salt. Turkey needs more salt 4 used 2 teaspooons dijon mustard, and a good douse of Worchestershire sauces. Came out delicious!

I made these burgers per the recipe but put in a little more blue cheese than what was called for. They were delicious! The guys raved about how they were as hearty as a beef burger. I did have a little bit of trouble keeping the patties from falling apart, however.

I will say they were quick and easy, but they had NO flavor. My kids wouldnt eat them, and my husband and i tried so many things to make them taste better...we loved the blue cheese but thats it. We tried to add BBQ sauce, Franks Red Hot, and even A1, but nothing seemed to go with these, maybe add more seasoning to the turkey? And yes lettuce, tomato, or something on the bun is needed! I think making them with ground beef and A1 might be better:-

This was a huge dissapointment. I saw this recipe on tv and thought it would be really good, and it even smelled good while cooking it, though it is very bland. It needs maybe some lettuce, tomato, mayo..everything a sandwich should have. Simply throwing this between 2 slices of dry bread isn't exactly the most fulfilling meal. Also, I wasn't very fond of the blue cheese with turkey. I think I would have preferred maybe some sharp cheddar or mozzarella instead.

This was the most uninteresting, colorless, bland looking presentation I have ever seen on the Food Network. I can't even imagine what my family would say if I set a neutral, mealy glob of meat on two pieces of dry bread in front of them and called it a meal or even a snack. Has this woman ever heard of condiments or garnish - a lettuce leaf, tomato wedge, sprig of parsley, a few carrot or celery sticks, anything to make this look remotely bright and appealing - anything to improve the horrible look of a gray lump. Then there's the recipe - don't know of many kids drawn to chunks of blue cheese and that's the only assertive flavoring in this recipe. No imagination or thought - ugh!

I will do this recipe again ( good idea but I will substitute another cheese and add some color with lettuce or slices of red pepper. We used blue cheese but no one really enjoyed the flavor of the cheese. I would also add some salt and a bit more seasoning that she says.

And the taste was just as bad...what little of it there was. I admit I tried this recipe as much because when I saw it on TV and Robin commented that she didn't even need any toppings, I couldn't believe she said that. For as many times as I've heard Robin say we eat with our eyes first, why would you makes something so pale and bland...couldn't even spare a lettuce leaf to give it any color? I also tried it because uaually I like a lot of Robin's recipes, and I'm always looking for a good beef burger alternative, but this wasn't it. Very, very bland...agree w/reader, at best, use it as a starter and add other seasonings and things to make it both more moist and colorful. This is the type of recipe that gives healthy cooking a bad name. This burger looks anemic!
