After watching this episode, I decided to make this. I left out the chives b/c I didn't have any on hand. I cooked the chicken in the morning and added it to the sauce later to warm it up.

I served this over bowtie pasta. It was FABULOUS!!!

My favorite dish is alfredo and this is WAY BETTER!!!

This is so easy to make and so flavorful! I'm making it tonight again!

This dish is awesome. I'm a big lover of creamy, white kind of pasta sauces and this one is one of my favorites. I agree with the previous person to saute the shallots and garlic until carmelized and SALT the chicken AND sauce until it's enough for you, taste along the way. I didn't have fresh chives so I topped it off with dried parsley flakes. YUM YUM!

This was really good. I always saute my shallots longer than a recipe calls for because I don't want them crunchy. But other than that this is just plain ol' yummy!

I read the reviews before making this recipe so I added extra spices (salt, pepper, spice blend to the chicken before cooking and it still turned out bland. I felt like I had to keep adding more and more salt to get any flavor at all. I did make extra sauce to put over the rice so at least it was juicy.

I really liked this combination of flavors. Because of previous comments on the amount of sauce, I bumped up the amount of cream and added some chicken stock. Served over pasta.

My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe. I would however change it by making a bit more of the sauce and putting the dish on noodles instead of rice. And yes it did need more salt and mushrooms would have been a great extra to add on. Over-all a great dish to work with.

I don't know what others mean about it being bland...maybe you skipped something...but my family loved it. And, they are quite picky!! I would follow the previous suggestion to add more cream and parmesan for more sauce if you have a larger family. (I have 2 teenage boys! Other than that, it's wonderful and I would highly reccommend it!
