I'm in the same camp as the others who wanted the marinade to come out more in the shrimp. I think if I were to do this again, I would make a bit more of the marinade, and let the shrimp sit in it for a while.

I also found that 2 tsp of thyme was more than enough. I'd probably cut back on that.

    Love the grilled lime.

I think next time I'll also throw some avacado and other goodies in the mixed greens - thanks to the previous poster for the idea!

This was so perfect for a summer meal - I used salmon instead of shrimp and pureed the recipe and served it on whole wheat toast points - fabulous!

I used Scallops but this exact recipe and it was a wonderful summer dinner with hard crusty bread~! I'm passing this on to my friends.

I thought the dressing was good, but I agree with a previous reviewer who said it didn't do much as a basting for the shrimp. I put green onions (instead of chivesin the dressing before basting the shrimp, and that helped. The salad overall is a good forum for adding any veggies you choose (we added carrots, avocado, and red bell pepper. I also added chili flakes to the dressing to spice it up. I'd make it again, but it didn't knock my socks off.

This recipe was great! So easy yet so it has a great blend of flavors that makes you want to keep eating. Bigger shrimp work better than smaller shrimp and I found adding cilantro only made it better!
