I made this recipe last night for my family and an Uncle whose visiting us from Hercules,CA hoping to impress them. I'm not really a cook but I try some recipes when I watch the food channel. It was a quick and easy recipe but it was just very dry, flavorless and just embarassing. So, we tried to fix it by adding olive oil and some salt. Still, dry and bland. Had a lot of leftover, so I tried to doctor it with something and found a cream of mushroom soup and poured over the noodles. The taste was acceptable but I wouldn't recommend this recipe to anyone.

This dish was very dry, probably because of the massive amount of breadcrumbs. They just stick to all the noodles giving them a weird texture. Maybe try some of the doctored up recipes listed below, but the straight up recipe is not great. It doesn't necessarily taste BAD... but it's not good. Sorry :(

I tried this with my boyfriend hopping for a nice romantic meal for the two of us. i thought the dish seem like something new and interesting for us to try. At first we were both a little questionable about using the orange and the chicken broth but we decided to try out anyway. When we finally finished everything to exactly how the recipe follows, we just both looked at each other with grotesque. At first it didn't taste good, it looked horrible, and all the flavors in the dish just did not mix well together. I would not advice anyone to ever try this. it's just plain awful and a big waste of money.

I read the reviews before making this dish. I also used lemon instead of oranges, and white wine instead of chicken broth. I didn't follow the measurements in the recipe, but just added as I went along. I also added whatever seasonings I thought would go great with clams. It was absolutely delicious. I would definitely make this again.

Fixed this for company. Followed recipe exactly. Started to eat and it was dry and tasted awful. Grabbed the rest of the dish, threw it back into the pan, added the clam juice, juiced two entire oranges and added, heated through and served to my guests and the difference was astounding! Was very embarrassed initially but at least was able to salvage the meal.

I read the reviews before I made this receipt and took the suggestion for using lemon instead of orange and I use white wine instead of chicken broth! My family loved it and it was so easy and so quick. It is a staple in my kitchen now.

Added garlic, salt and pepper and replaced orange zest with lemon zest. Think it would be even better with white wine rather than chicken stock. It was delicious. Will definitely make again.

Very dry and no flavor. My husband and I even tried to put alfredo sauce (from a jar on it. We still had to toss the whole batch.

The 1lb of pasta was too much. It would have been better with just 1/2 lb & a thicker pasta. Even with the broth & pasta water, this was very dry.
