This was the saltiest rice I've ever had. I followed the recipe exactly except I left out the pork because I made the rice as a side for chicken. It was almost inedible. If I tried to make it again (which I won't I would only use half of the soy sauce it calls for. Not a keeper!!

Very good! My kids are very picky eaters and they loved this. Great recipe for leftovers and was simple and quick to make. My son's girlfriend thought I ordered takeout!I also made the rice from a rice cooker and it was fine. We aren't big pork fans so I instead used leftover baked chicken and it worked just fine. I like the idea of the green pepper and peas, will certainly use that next time.

I made this for dinner last night and now my husband said he will never eat out again. The best pork fried rice he ever had. And being that we living in NYand have the best restaurants in the world it is a true compliment. Thank you!

This is a good basic fried rice recipe. When I made it, I added more rice, green onions, a green pepper and more eggs. Great meal. Good leftover too. I don't like peas and carrots in my fried rice so did not add those.

Like the other reviewers, we feel there needs to be more rice and veggies added. I am by no means a great cook, but I really love the flavors of the oils- nearly tastes like they do it at restaurants! Its my 15 yr old son's favorite dish! I really like that it is easy to fix so I can show him basics in the kitchen too.

We love this recipe! I do add an extra egg however, because we like the extra protein in there, and I may consider adding a veggie, like carrots or something, the next time I make it since reading the other reviews. I add the rice straight out of the rice cooker and it does not get mushy. The cilantro makes this dish sooo yummy!

This was a great starting point but I agree w/other reviewers that it needed the peas & carrots. I used about 2 - 2 1/2 cups cooked & chilled rice (DON'T use it hot or it will be mushy, 3 eggs & added about 3/4 cup of frozen pea & carrot mix. The rest of the recipe I did exactly as written and it came out great! I think using the pork from the other recipe actually added a little flavor. Also, I cooked it in my wok and as long as you have everything chopped & ready to go, the wok is awesome & fast!

This was VERY salty, probably half the soy sauce called for would work. I would have liked more rice, the pork to rice ratio seemed off to me.
