Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon hot chili oil
  • 1 cup cooked Yukon gold potatoes
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

Heat hot chili oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. When oil is hot, add the potatoes. Stir in the garlic cloves, chili powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until crispy.

    these were so good tonight on such a chilly night (don't laugh...it's 60 degrees here in palm springs and i'm shivering!.

    Anyway, I used baby red potatoes that i cut in half. Nice little bite-sizes. Also, I used the wasabi sour cream described in the same show.

    Had no chili oil or chili powder and they were still good!

    Excellent alternate to fried potatoes! I melted some left over cheddar cheese on top of it prior to serving and with or without the cheese, it's a huge hit!
