Although I'm glad I read the reviews and followed the modifications. I used the taco seasoning and brushed them with egg wash and then sprinkled the tops with kosher salt. My green chiles were pretty spicy so it came togther great. My family LOVED them and voted that the recipe should be a regular on our table - and total time to prep to out of the oven was done in about 30 minutes! I may try to play with making them a little bit smaller as only my husband was able to finish a whole one.

Great flavor and takes no time to make...I always have left over roast and this is a great way to use it the next day in a whole new flavor!

This was the best way to use my leftover chicken and beef.
They made great quick and easy apps for entertaining and it's a dinner favorite.
    Thanks.

Overall I liked this dish, but I probably won't make it again, it wasn't worth the effort. To me there wasn't enough flavor to it, I like things with more flavor and also I think it should have been more spicy

Robin has great ideas but I notice some of her recipes are bland. I took the advice of several reviews and added onions and taco seasoning. I found that if you really stuff them then the crust isn't as bad. You could also roll the crust even thinner.

My husband loved them. I brushed them with egg wash and then sprinkled with kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper. Was delicious. I will definitely make these again.

This was a great way to use leftover meat. I read previous reviews so I added salsa to prevent drying out. Turned out fine.

...rather than leftover beef, I used leftover pulled pork (minus the BBQ sauce that I made using this Emeril recipe:

    The
cheese I used was a chipotle cheddar, which added a little smoky flavor and just the tiniest bit of spiciness. I would definitely make these again; they were a hit with my family!

I used homemade pie crust, which has never failed me in a pie, but the crust was just too dry and too much.
