This meal was great! I loved the sauce but the chicken needs a little more seasoning, so next time I think I will add some more spices to it. Overall great recipe!

This recipe turned out amazing...I did roast an onion with it as well, and sprinkled chopped garlic on the tomatoes part way through the roasting process. I pureed half the onions with the tomatoes (garlic includedand enjoyed the taste so much I did not even add the hot sauce or vinegar. The tomatoes were out of the garden, so would probably add the hot sauce and vinegar with store bought tomatoes, but this was one of the best recipes I have tried in a long time!

I liked it but also feel that the sauce could be spiced up a little more try roasting some garlic and a red pepper and adding some worsteshire to really set it off.

The sauce wasn't that great. It needed some more taste.
The chicken had to be cooked for about 45 minutes.
    The roasted zucchini was ok.

As is, I don't think this would have been that great. After taste testing the sauce, it was definitely lacking, so I added 2T garlic powder and 1t yellow curry powder. After that, the chicken was pretty tasty! My husband and I are trying to eat a little healthier and have decided we will have this chicken (with the tweaks instead of wings when we have the craving. We didn't try it tonight, but my husband also suggested sprinkling some blue cheese crumbles on top.
The zucchini was just plain gross. It was limp and slimy and tasted like I was eating some sort of cleaning product. If I have zucchini with this next time, I will just sprinkle a little salt and pepper on the zucchini before roasting. I think it would taste much better that way.
This was a VERY easy meal to prepare, though. I REALLY liked that. Simple to make, simple to clean up, and with some alterations, pretty tasty. I too will be using the tweaked sauce on other things now.

I read many reviews of this recipe. My conclusion is that those who rated this recipe as below average or bland may not taste test as you cook. The ingredients are right on, and if you like it spicier, remember you can always add, but can't take it out. I grilled my chicken adding oregano, basil, crushed red pepper, and Mrs. Dash. I roasted the veggies and were perfect in 25 minutes. Just start out with half the balsamic and chili powder ,taste and add as you go. This recipe took little time with an unbelievable flavor if you are watching calories. Robin, thanks for your truly "quick fix meals"

This was an easy meal to make and the left over ingredients worked well for the Penne Rustica. It wasn't a blow your socks off fantastic meal but it worked. It was well balanced and you can add your own flavors to spice it up. We also had to cook the veggies longer and broiled it at the end to carmelize.

This recipe is HORRIBLE!! I've cooked many recipes from Food Network before and have always been happy with the results. This however tastes like I put a tomato on top of chicken and then added vinegar to it! I would not receommend this recipe and was completely embarassed that I had to serve this to my friends. I almost threw it in trash and ordered pizza for everyone.
