I am a huge fan but I was extremely disappointed with this. The problem I ran into was that the honey mustard was very sticky and the sesame seeds were too few. So it stuck to my pan and made a huge mess.
I hate it when reviewers write in and tell you what they changed, but I have a marinade that you could use in lieu of the honey mustard.
1/4 C each black and white sesame seeds
    1 T sesame oil
    2-6 ounces of ahi Tuna
    Marinade:
1/2 c low sodium soy sauce, 1 lime (juice and zest, 2 cloves minced garlic, 2 T honey, 1 T sesame oil
Marinate the tuna in a ziploc with HALF OF the sauce (reserve the rest for dipping and refrigerate an hour. Take out and let stand at room temp for 20 min. Remove from bag, dry on paper towels. Heat a saute pan and add 1 T sesame oil . Put sesame seeds on a flat dish and roll the tuna around in the seeds pressing down to make sure they are packed on. Add to hot pan. Sear on both sides for desired doneness. Serve with the reserved dipping sauce.

Wonderful! We love tuna but often find it too dry. This was the perfect way to prepare a delicious, moist tuna very quickly!

This was delicious. I did not have honey mustard, so I made my own with Dijon and Honey. I only had white sesame seeds. Then, I cooked it on my Panini Grill and it was outstanding. My picky son had 2 helpings, and that is really something.

Quick & easy way to make a great tasting tuna steak. Just be sure not to overcook the tuna. IMO, 3 minutes per side at med/high heat is plenty.

this was delicious and so easy. my only issue is that the sesame seeds didn't stick to the tuna. the flavors of the honey mustard and wasabi sour cream, mmmm good.

It appears to me that Jonathan from NY is a jerk, if the tuna was that horrible,

maybe it was the TUNA and not the recipe. I've cooked this for my friends and

they loved it.They also loved how easy this dish was. I'll take Robin's recipes over

"RR" any day of the week.

Took moments to prepare and tasted very good. Definitely be liberal with the salt and pepper. And as with others, I used sweet and spicy mustard and the sesame seeds stuck perfectly and cooked up perfectly. Quite good. I'd make it again.
