I love this recipe so much! I made it for family and friends and they loved it as well! I will next time add another jalapeno and cilantro as well as add more chicken so it is more proportioned! The different flavors are so wonderful!

I used shredded chicken from the crock pot instead, but it was a little drier than rotisserie chicken probably would have been. I removed the seeds from the jalepeno because I was cooking for a pickier crowd, but everyone still enjoyed the dish! I have never cooked soba noodles before and they ended up sticking together, so I would recommend tossing with the sesame and soy right after you cook them. Other than that, delicious!!

    What's not too love?!
Super simple, it uses only a few ingredients and it incorporates leftover chicken for a satisfying second dish the next day.
You can adjust the honey and heat fit your taste buds but simply put this "Sweet and spicy combo is tasty for all".
Another one of our TOP 10!!!

Love this dish. I think next time I will add an additional jalapeno.

This is easy to make and has great flavors and heat. It's even easier to make with a half pound of pre cooked shrimp. My picky roommate even asked for the recipe. Make it all the time now.

Okay, I've made this several times and it has TONS of flavor, texture & complexity IF you do this: I pretty much doubled the cilantro (I use an entire bunch myself, green onions, jalepenos, ginger ROOT- I buy the fresh kind- it has a ton more flavor. What I do is cook 1/3 to 1/2 of it with my chicken. So in the pan, honey, jalepenos, cilantro, green onion, salt pepper, dash of soy & olive oil. Once the chicken is done, I rinse the cooked noodles well in cold water. I toss the FRESH cilantro, jalepenos, ginger, soy, olive oil, salt, pepper, green onions into a large platter style bowl with the noodles. Then I add the chicken straight out of the pan with the drippings. The mixture in the pan carmelizes and makes the chicken delicious- hint- I buy fresh boneless skinless tenderloins, they cook faster and can be tossed right into the bowl that way. Adding the fresh ingredients gives a great color, texture, tons more flavor and makes it more unique.

I made the sauce as directed a day ahead, and like other reviewers found it lacking in complexity. So, I doubled the amount of jalapeno and cilantro, and added sri racha and chopped onion to the sauce, and blended again. Instant-ZING. Also added water chestnuts (for crunch. For the dish I substituted udon noodles (prefer the texture, used only olive oil (ran out of sesame oil and topped with sesame seeds. HUGE hit with my live-in, snobby food critic, who ate it for 3 dinners straight. I also recommend cubing the chicken to distance the flavors. Will definitely be making this again with my additions, the review gets 3 stars because I'm grateful for the baseline idea to which I was able to add!

I'm so sorry, but I made it and couldn't eat it. I love cooking and followed the recipe. My husband and I felt it was way too sweet and lacked a deeper more complex flavor. We couldn't taste the sesame and all we tasted was chicken, honey, and jalapeno. I must have done something wrong based on the reviews, or else it just wasn't for us. Also, maybe the directions needed more clarification.
