When I was first preparing the sauce in the food processor, it terrified me because it smelled so strongly of honey. However, when all the ingredients were put together, this dish was absolutely amazing. I couldn't find any soba noodles, so I bought lo mein noodles instead. I made a couple other substitutions, using five chicken breasts seasoned with salt and pepper instead of half a rotiserie chicken, the milder cubanelle pepper instead of jalapeno, and a smaller amount of dried cilantro instead of my fresh which had spoiled badly. The dish really is spectacular - expressing both a developed sweetness as well as a spicy flare. The only thing I would definately change is to add more scallions, as they really did add an interesting flavor to the dish.

When I read over the recipe I really didn't think it would go over well with my husband, who is strictly a "meat and potatoes" guy. But I read the reviews and they convinced me to at least try it. I had a half of a rotisserie chicken in the fridge, so I gave it a try last night. I couldn't believe how good it was, and my husband took 3 helpings, raving it about it all through the meal. So this is a new favorite in our household.

I made this last night for dinner. It took less than 15 minutes to make and it was so delicious that my husband is already asking me to make it again.

I liked this dish, but my only complaint is that I thought it was a little too sweet. I added extra salt to lessen the sweetness, but next time, I'd just use less honey. I also doubled the sesame oil for the noodles. I didn't want to use the pickled ginger, so I grated some fresh ginger in the food processor when I was making the honey-cilantro sauce, and the flavor still came though in the sauce. Next time I might just roast some breasts on the bone since it's cheaper/easier instead of buying a whole rotisserie chicken. Overall, the flavors were good and I'd make this again.

I am not a cook by any means and do not know my way around the kitchen. This recipe was extremely easy to prepare. It also came out very very good. I had no luck finding soba noodles in the grocery store so I used angel hair pasta. I also had no luck finding the scallions which I substituted with green onions. Truth be told, if I could put this dish together, anyone can. Try it, it is very easy and delicious.

Followed the recipe as called for but used udon noodles instead of soba, and it turned out perfectly!! If you can't find the ingrediants, go to your local asian market, they'll have everything you'll need to make this great meal. One of our favorite dishes!

I made this recipe last night ... it came out really good and so easy! The soba noodles were difficult to find but they are tasty with the sesame oil and soy sauce. The honey jalapeno sauce was delicious with the initial sweetness and then a spicy surprise.

I try a lot of Robin's recipes and this I think is her best of best. The only thing I changed was I used Dreamfield's Linguini instead of the Soba noodles. The flavor was outstanding and this was soooo easy to make!

I prepared this dish for my 3 children and they loved it. It was sooooo quick and easy even the most inexperienced cook could do it - I did.

I could not find Soba noodles so I just used regular noodles and it was fine.

I was so amazing that my kids begged me to cook it again the next night!! I was actually planning to have the left overs for lunch the next day - there were no leftovers!!!

Thank you Robin Miller!!! For those of us that don't have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen or the experience to fix a fabulous meal - this was AMAZING!!! From the mouths of teenagers!!
