We Loved this recipe. The only thing I changed was the amount of orange juice. I cut that in half and it was perfect for us. Will absolutely make again.

Sounded great. I put all of the ingredients in the slow cooker in the morning and let it do its thing. I thought the marinade for the chicken was okay but overwhelming with the squash and sweet potatoes. I wouldn't make this again.

This recipe was okay but the glaze and vegetables turned out way too sweet and the chicken was pretty dry.

Very simple, my family enjoyed the chicken and winter veggies. I used 1/2 cup marmalade instead of one cup, and increased the stock by 1/2 cup. I also used bone-in chicken hindquarters with the skin removed, intstead of breasts. Next time I will probably use a butternut squash instead of acorn, as acorn squash is a bit difficult to peel. (I have two little kids and use the slow-cooker on activity nights, so I like things to be a quick as possible to throw together!

    Wow -
I took a chance on this recipe since I am more partial to grilled chicken. But I am glad I did. The prep was quick and simple. The end result GREAT!

I did the long cook time and didnt find the veggies too soft.

But I had left over veggies so I added some cinnamon, 1/2 & 1/2 cream to the heating dish and used my hand blender to puree it for thick rich soup. I have to admit that I think the end result of the soup was even better than the main dish!!

I liked it so much I shared the recipe with my mom.

I found the ingredients flavorful and very tasty- original. I would have scored this "5" however; the prep time was greater than 15 minutes. It took me 30, the skinning of the vegetables which may have been this bachelors problems! Well, off to surf for man fine recipes!

don't have a slow cooker so i put it in the oven and did the squash seperate (made soup later. the flavors are awsome. i am still debating to buy a slow cooker. however the recipes robin comes up with.....if you can get the cooking right based on your oven or slow cooker are well worth it. great flavors as usual

The chicken was okay, but the vegtables were too mushy, plus my husband just didn't like it. I watched it being prepared and was anxious to try it. I printed the recipe, but obviously, I didn't do something right. Will try other recipes. Very interested in lighter fares that are full of taste. Thanks

This was very easy to make. The flavors in the recipe are not very strong, very subtle. I will say that I will probably use this recipe to make just sweet potatoes - they came out really good.
