I give this recipe a one because it does not even live up to its title "melt in your mouth bbq ribs". The sauce was not and did not taste like bbq at all. It did not have a good consistency, it was watery, runny and unflavorable. It was more of a tomato sauce. And as much as i tried to cut away the fat, there was so much of it in the pot. It was awful. Bad bad bad recipe. I do not recommend, i know it looks tempting cuz its easy to do, but it was bad and tastes bad.

Sauce was awesome. I used crushed tomatoes because I could not find chunky tomato sauce. I also used country style ribs just because that was what I had on hand. Totally awesome ribs!

After watching your show, I dug out my "hadn't been used in years" slow cooker, hoping it still worked, and proceeded to prepare your pork ribs. Well, after 4 hours on high, served with mashed potatoes and green beans, and a salad, the ribs were absolutely delicious. I saved the barbecue sauce that was left to use with chicken another time. Fabulous, easy, and definitely a keeper recipe!

These ribs were the hit of the party. Everyone loved them. Even those who don't lean towards meat oriented snacks. Was great as left overs too.

Rib meat was falling off the bone however the sauce was more like a tomatoe sauce making it just OK. We added a spicier BBQ sauce on the side. Still looking for a great rib recipe.

A bit more "taco flavored" sauce than a traditional barbeque recipe. Ribs were very tender though. I think that this recipe would be just as good pouring a bottle of sauce over the ribs and cooking in the crockpot. The blend of spices can be used for numerous other recipes - with more of a Mexican twist. Woud be wonderful over a nice yellow rice for Spanish rice, for instance.

this was a very easy dish to make. And when it was done the meat was so tender it fell off the bone. but i thought it could've used some more flavor. i would definitely make this again, only add a little something next time.

My family absolutely loves this sauce! Actually, I use a pork tenderloin in the crock pot, and let it cook 4-5 hours on high in this sauce, and then we pull it apart on a plate and add the sauce. I serve it over corn cakes, and my family always wants seconds, and even thirds! It's definately a keeper!

Not spicy enough for us. We have been doing ribs in the slow cooker for years when short on time. First we brown the ribs under the broiler and place them in the slow cooker on top of thickly sliced onions to keep them off the bottom. We have used many different bottled BBQ sauce or home made with excellent results. Use your favorite, they are guaranteed tender.
