My four boys love ribs, and I've made these for them many times when we are too busy to spend time over the grill. The house smells great by dinner and I always use the leftovers for pulled pork sammys. Don't forget to season your ribs, and putting some sliced up onion, garlic, & peppers under them in the slow cooker only adds more flavor!

Terrible, horibble, no good, very bad! Do not waste your ribs on this sauce!

We didn't care for the sauce even though I jacked it up with extra seasoning and liquid smoke. The meat was very tender but had very little flavor. I was very disappointed as the cost of 2 slabs of ribs isn't cheap. I'm searching for a good recipe of both dry and wet ribs to find the best. I can't beleive this recipe was tested before filming.

Why not just boil the meat and serve it with ketchup?

Take a little time and effort and do bbq the justice it deserves.

Mr. Alton Brown needs to sit Ms. Miller down for a serious heart to heart chat about food or at least ribs. It would behoove Ms. Miller to research the 3-2-1 method for cooking ribs. I pray that Food Network can enroll Ms. Miller in some remedial cooking school. Food is getting way too expensive to abuse in this manner.

We made these ribs yesterday and the house smelled fantastic all afternoon. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and the liquid was delicious but the meat was flavorless. But after we added thinned barbecue sauce and stored leftovers covered in BBQ sauce, it was great for the next night's meal. I will keep looking for the perfect recipe...

Though I will readily admit I have not tried it, I am offended by the very idea of this recipe. As anyone else from Kansas City will tell you, ribs MUST be cooked in a smoker. The equivalent would be a recipe for microwaved steak. And the sauce, really?!
In the name of all that is holy (like BBQ, please don't ruin a great rack of pork spare ribs by cooking them with this recipe.

Hey ddddddddddddddd from Oysterbay, NY, Joseph is right. The cook time in the recipe heading does say 3 min., even though it clearly states 6 hours in the recipe itself. So don't be so harsh on Joe, he was right. Not a fan of this recipe, the sauce was bland and I always sear/brown ribs before cooking in a crock pot, which, of course, does not compare to grilling! I am wondering if Robin's show will be moved to the new Food Channel, where many of the less popular chefs seem to be going, i.e. Ingrid H., Nigella L., Jamie Oliver and others.

Poor tomato sauce, not close to a BBQ sauce. Maybe ok for short ribs
BBQ ribs are done on a BBQ or smoker not my grandmothers crock pot.
