This made such a delicious meal! My husband and I have busy schedules so I made everything and assembled it the night before and put it in the refrigerator. When I got home from work I put it in the oven and dinner was ready in an hour without any fuss!

    I made a few changes for our's:
-ground chicken breast cooked with 1 mild taco bell seasoning packet
-I made a homemade salsa because I don't like store-bought. My recipe has cilantro so I omitted the other cilantro
-I didn't cut the corn tortillas, I just used however whole ones it took to cover, overlapping just a little.

If you refrigerate it overnight be sure to take it out of the fridge to take the chill off while preheating your oven.

We had ours with sliced avocado and refried beans...delicious!!

Possible Add In's: Black Olives and or green Olives.

    Left off: Cayenne Pepper

Our family loved this dish!! Over half of the ingredents we already had I only had to grab a couple of things. Some ideas you could do: we came up with the idea of instead of making it into a Lasagna you could put them in Taquito's or even Burritto's or Queseda's. We did make the recipe as is the first time. But the corn Tortilla's didn't hold up very well so thats how we came up with other idea's to use the filling. But over all an amazing blow-out of flavor's and is now a once a week dish in our family.

Made this last night for the family and they LOVED it. I added some red onions to the chicken while I cooked it along with some Adobe, and Jane's Crazy Mixed Up Salt, and some pepper. I cut the tortillas in half and layed two on the bottom and worked my way up. I also added some extra cheese on top of each layer, it made it a little creamier. I think maybe next time I would add more Cilantro, it didn't really add a whole lot to the dish, since you couldn't really taste it. But overall it was an instant hit that everyone is begging me to make again~

I followed the recipe exactly. I love Mexican food. This does not even qualify.

Made this for dinner the other night and I only made a few additions. I added a little more salsa, some onions, more cheese and a can of rinsed black beans. This was so tasty and it was a great alternative to Italian lasagna, which my family does not care for.

I thought this was yummy, just try not to overlap the tortillas on the bottom too much, otherwise it's pretty crancy and hard to slice.

I made this on a night when we have "Leftover Buffet" at my house. I had a chicken I had roasted earlier and it needed to be used (now and this recipe caught my eye from her show. I made it just as the recipe says, although, I didn't really count out the corn tortillas, just piled them in there until it looked good and it came out great. My husband, who is a celiac (cannot have wheat or gluten even like these and the recipe was easy to adapt to his special dietary needs. We had too many things to choose from (spaghetti, chicken pot pie and this mexican lasagne that the kids did not try it, but next time they will and I think they will like it!! Will definitely make this again.

If you have a 9 x 13 dish here's a great way to fill it up. Instead of using half the chicken mixture for the first layer, use it all then layer the tortillas. For the next layer mix one can of refried beans (I used fat free, half a can of red enchilada sauce, and about 3-4 oz of green chilis (if you buy the 7oz size for the whole recipe, use what is left over from the chicken mixture after mixing pour/spread the mixture onto the tortillas then sprinkle the 1/2 cup cheese on top. Bake as directed. It's fantastic! My family loved it.

I made this recipe ages ago when I first saw it on tv. My whole family loved it. I love this recipe because it tastes like so much more time and effort has gone into it! LOL I am not a spicy food eater but, the green chilli isn't spice it gives a really nice flavor that isn't over bearing either. I grew up in AZ so it is wonderful to have good mexican food! : I'd lost this recipe when I moved to my new house so I decided to hunt for it here-so glad to find it again!
