This has to be the most disgusting dish I have ever tasted. I followed the recipe exactly, and they were terrible! No wonder the picky kid on the show wouldn't eat them. I will not make them again.

I love chicken, and hate oats, so this recipe intrigued me, making me think I'll be forced to eat (and like oats. I did think it was very good, but the spices are a tad overpowering (and I like spicy food. If you don't like extremely spicy food, definitely cut down on the spices. Also, I found I ran out of breading way before I ran out of chicken. I'd double the breading recipe right at the onset.
I really did like these, but to be honest, I can't imagine kids liking them much.

I made this for my grandchildren but I think that it had too much thyme for kid's taste. Actually it had too much for me. My chicken did crisp well and I like the idea of the oatmeal especially for kids that won't eat oats so I will try it again. Next time I will omit the thyme, cut down on the oregeno and increase the garlic, onion, salt and pepper. Will probably add just a bit of Panko bread crumbs because they are so crispy.
