It really was crispy! And the chicken was nice and moist....not dried out at all. Everyone in my house liked this recipe. I'll be making this again!I served this with the roasted corn & garlic couscous.

In one word, nasty. It was just awful, it tasted like soft oatmeal on chicken. One of the worst recipes I've tryed. I wasted 4 beautiful expensive chicken breast with this recipe.

From reading other reviewers, I decided to add some things for more flavor. I added 1 teaspoon of seasoning salt, parsley for color and about 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne red pepper. The chicken was moist and had a good flavor. I liked the oats. The only thing missing, that would have made it a 5 star, was some sauce. Maybe a sauce with honey or even marmalade, not sure, but am certainly willing to try it again... with sauce. :

This was healthy, tasty and even easy! My family LOVED it! We really dislike mustard, but it gave it a tang and didn't taste of mustard. The spices really gave it flavor. I am not sure why the other reviewers found that it wasn't tasty ~ we thought it had alot of zing.

Thank you to the reviewer who said that she keeps a container of the mixture. What a great idea!

This was pretty good, I added some cayenne pepper to make it a little spicy. Doesn't take that long to cook so just keep checking, I ended up overcooking mine at 25 minutes which resulted in a little bit of dryness especially because of the oats. It was a good meal that was simple and got no complaints.

Wow, that was bad, sorry Robin! The oats didn't get crispy at all and it was just yukky. I follwed the recipe exactly--how did you folks make it work?

I thought this dish was very good, but I had to cut down the spices a little so they weren't as overpowering.

I really like a lot of Robin's recipes, however my husband and I thought this one had WAY TOO MUCH SEASONING. I probably won't bother making it again but if I did I would cut the oregano etc. in half.

While making this I had a hard time getting the oats to stick to the chicken so I had to brush on more mustard. There were not enough oats to cover all the chicken, so I added more oats. In the end, 3 kids and 2 adults all agreed it was good - but not at all like fried chicken. I will make this again.
