Even though I had to add more liquid and I adjusted the sugar/oats/cinnamon to taste, it is a great recipe to start with. Just adjust it to what flavors you want to taste the most. Every time I make this for dinner parties, everyone loves it! Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! I always use fresh peaches...best part of the recipe that it is QUICK!

I did not have peaches in my pantry but i had apples, so to make them soft I sauteed them in butter with cinnamon and sugar. I cooked them till they were soft. I also did not have regular oatmeal in the pantry but had a package of apples and cinnamon oatmeal. So for the crumble i omitted the cinnamon and followed the rest of the recipe. I like this recipe too because it uses oil instead of butter, as I only had tub butter and not stick butter. Thank you Mrs. Miller for helping come up a with a new way to use my pantry!!!!!

I knew once I started the recipe that it was going to need more sugar and oil. I put in about 1/4 cup of brown sugar, and I used enough oil to make the mixture like wet sand. Then I added more salt to make it taste like it had butter in it. The crumble tasted delicious before and after it was cooked. I used fresh peaches and put a dollop of blueberry jelly in the center of each peach halve. (I got that idea from Sunny on "Cooking For Real". With a few changes, this recipe could be really tasty. I guess you have to modify it to your own taste buds.

This was a bit dry and wasn't very sweet. I would add butter and/ or sugar next time.

I made this a couple weeks ago. I did change a few things just from the other reviews I read. I did add a tsp of sugar over the top. And with the crumbly mixture I added a drizzle of melted butter. It turned out nicely, just felt it missed something. My husband loved it though.

Loved it for such a quick recipe! Instead of using frozen peaches, I used canned and instead of using oil, I used butter...was not dry at all. Going to try with canned apples - mmm mmmmm!

This was a little bit dry and not very sweet.
I will try it again and add a sprinkle of sugar over the peaches.
Maybe a little fruit juice added to the crumb mixture would help too.
