I loved it but will use 2 cloves of garlic next time or just use smaller cloves of garlic. Otherwise it was fantastic.

I enjoyed this immensely. When prepared with fresh ingredients, the spicing is really great. A terrific, quick appetizer.

This recipe is just ok. I reduced the amount of garlic by half but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. This hummus is tasty but needs additional spices... I added pepper flakes and cayenne and smoked paprika. I added a ton of salt and pepper too. Next time, and it is good enough to make again, I'll reduce the amount of tahini and increase the amount of chickpeas. Mine turned carrot orange ... don't know why.

This hummus is great. I had been previously using a recipe from an old book I had, and this one blew it out of the water. I added red chili flakes to give it a little spice, upped the garlic, and I substituted peanut butter (just a couple spoonfuls because my market didn't have tahini, and used jarred red peppers. Served it in falafel pitas and it added just the perfect amount of flavor.

I had doubled the recipe to make a second batch to share at work. I doubled all ingredients except for the garlic. I still only used four (average sized cloves.

The hummus got rave reviews, but was VERY garlicy for most. I'd recommend using only half of the garlic that is called for unless you're a garlic lover.

The recipe is not bad, but I added a few other seasonings to spice it up. I like a little heat, so a little cayenne was tossed into the mix along with some smoked paprika. This is a great recipe to doctor up.

Next time I make this recipe I will use way less garlic 3 cloves was just too much. If you try this recipe start with one.

Emerils recipe for calls for 3/4 tsp with almost all the other ingredients the about the same.
