    Use store-bought frosting and cake mix?!??! Everyone knows what that tastes like and it'll impress no one. I'm surprised this was on TV let alone a showcase recipe in the Food Network Halloween section. Making a cake from scratch isn't exactly a challenge. There's about 10 extra min of measuring ingredients, so what? I understand the point of the show is to be as quick as possible, but if you want to be even quicker, buy the whole cake at a good bakery.
