I made this dish exactly, following each step. However, the flavors just did not blend well together. The horseradish overpowered everything else. The potatoes and squash took far longer to cook than the chicken and everything was bland as salt and pepper were the only spices used. I enjoy cooking and eating healthy, nevertheless, this meal was a waste of good, healthy ingredients not to mention time. Yuck!

It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The froth was very light and you could barely taste the horseradish. I didn't want the horseradish to be overpowering but something was missing.

The chicken looked dirty and did not taste good. I hope that I can doctor up the chicken and cook differently because there was ALOT of leftovers.

This recipe is great. My husband and I both made funny faces when we read/heard what it was called, but tasting it made all the difference. The thing that I loved most about this menu was the budget, time, waist friendly approach. Keep it coming Robin!

I just made the chicken and it was just okay. I made a bunch, so I hope the chicken will go well in lunch salads and sandwiches.

I used skinless chicken parts which I had on hand, thinking the flavor would be even more pronounced than chicken breasts. They came out looking dirty and rather bland. I can think of many better ways to cook chicken. I can only imagine what they would have looked like with white froth on top. Mind you, I find it hard to believe a cook who prepares food wearing long sleeve jackets and sweaters - very unsanitary to say the least.

I liked the idea of horseradish sauce on chicken--it was tasty but I thought the sauce was too thin so I added a bit of cornstarch to thicken it up. Next time I would coat the chicken with the combination of Dijon and Balsamic and then refrigerate for a while to get it to stick better--don't know if that would work, but worth a try.

We have never had Acorn Squash until now. WOW!!!! I decided to cut my in half, scoop it out and then cut into rings. I place it in a shallow baking pan, sprayed with oil spray, placed them down, spray again, and put 2-3 drops of water in each ring. Then baked. about 20 min later, i turned them over and baked 10 min more. YUMMY!! These were hard to leave alone. My family (husband and 13 yr old daughter couldnt believe how delicious these were. WHO KNEW!!!
Robin, You've done it again. You've introduced our family to a new vegetable, prepared it healthfully and we love it. You're amazing! Don't change a thing!!
