but still tasty, I used my own homemade guac and used corn tortillas instead, you should add something else for flavor unless you just want a quick healthy snack...maybe I will add corn next time...

    Hi Carol,

Just watched this episode this afternoon... these instructions are different than the show... weird. Anyways, on the show she put everything on one half of the tortilla, folded it over, placed it on a baking sheet sprayed with PAM, then sprayed the top of the tortillas with PAM and placed another baking sheet on top of the quesadillas to help press them down. I am sure that the oven was heated to about 400 degrees, but I don't remember exactly, and she put them in the over until the cheese was melted... she said 10 mins on the show.

Hope that helps! Although, I always cook my tortillas on the griddle, or on a grill pan... I think that spraying PAM right on the tortilla would make it soggy?

I would like to have printed instructions for the oven "fried" Salmon Quesadillas she did on the air ! They were done differently than what these instructions say. I wish I had written them down! Any help out there?

It was a little tasteless, and I suppose I prefer traditional guacamole.

My family loves mexican food and the wife and I were looking for some ways to get some fish into our diet. Wow this recipe was just the ticket, and I love that it is a reciepe that can so easily be personalized for everyone in the family.

I used frozen salmon filets, and before I cooked them on the stovetop, i rubbed them in olive oil and sprinkled chili powder on top. They grilled up tasting so delicious. I also didn't make the guacamole, but rather just used salsa. Also delicious!

This was a handy recipe for using up leftover salmon, but not in a hurry to do again.
