I made these today for my family and they loved these burgers. I added some Ritz cracker crumbs along with the seasoned bread crumbs, and also some chopped onion. Due to the extra crumbs, they did not fall apart when cooking. They are really good topped with home-made tartar sauce, red onion, tomato, and bits of shredded cheddar. Toast your bun, it makes the burger even better. This is a keeper.

I made a few changes because of the lack of ingrediants in my pantry/fridge. I added green onion, italian bread crumbs, spicy mustard, 1tbsp light mayo, 1 small clove garlic, little dill pickle, lemon juice, soy sauce (next time I will use worthshier sauce, hot sauce, salt/pepper, dash of cayenne and parsley. I grilled it on my george foreman grill. I ate on regular wheat toast and spread some avacado on there with some lettuce. I then topped my burger with a sprinkle of shredded parmesean cheese. This was so fabulous!!!!! It did NOT taste like tuna one bit. I dont have kids but I am pretty sure if you tried to give this to them, they wouldnt know it was tuna.

I absolutely love this recipe. my sister hates tuna, and we're all trying to lose weight in the house, so we're sick of low cal recipes. I made these, however (used no oil in the skillet and put them between two slices of bread each (used sliced bread for less cals and the whole family loved them.

Thank you for sharing this recipe. It's easy to make, and yummy.

PS. Added a fresh onion, finely chopped. They work great with tuna.

We decided to try these because tuna was the one fish product the kids would eat and the recipe was affordable. We didn't expect it to become one of our absolute favorites! The flavor is outstanding and the kids never tire of it. It's easy to put together and can even be thrown together on busy nights!

Followed the directions and ended up with a plate of mush. The garbage disposal enjoyed this recipe more than my family.

I just made these delicious tuna burgers. I didn't have any parsley, so I couldn't add it, but all the other ingredients were readily available in my pantry and fridge! I used one 7 oz can of tuna; I only had 7 oz cans and I didn't think the missing 2oz would make too much of a difference. I cut back a little on the mayo because I only had full fat. This recipe is quick, easy, and delicious! Make these this week!

Excellent burger without buns. After reading other reviews I used half cracker and half itaian breadcrumbs. I had no problem with them falling apart. Will diffently make again especially during Lent.

Many reviews say these burgers fall apart but taste good. I think I stubled onto the solution by accident.

The 1st time I made it I forgot the measurements from the computer to the kitchen and used 1/3 cup cracker crumbs (substitute for bread crumbs. The result was delicious but the inside was too moist...almost pate' like.

This time I increased the bread/cracker crumbs to 4 tablespoons. If cooked to brown to form a crust in a very hot skillet (I used the center of a non-stick wok, it does not fall apart. I'd always use the good white albacore...I can imagine that cheap $.50/can stuff would be too mushy. With the good stuff it's more like crab cake.

For flavor variation, I used a pouch of hickory smoke flavor tuna in place of one of the cans. Had no parsley, used same amount super fine chopped sweet onion instead & a little italian seasoning. I did not use salt, igured everthing else has enough. I do not serve as a burger with a bun, just as a fish cake. Three yr old daughter likes with a little ketchup, hubby & I like a litte extra hot sauce.

The flavor of these patties was good, but the recipe calls for too much mayo for the amount of bread crumbs and tuna that is used. The result is a patty that falls apart and is difficult to serve. Will try again but will alter the recipe greatly to get the right balance of crumbs and mayo.
