OK, but not worth repeating. I found it too greasy. I haven't tried anything from Robin Miller that is a keeper, don't know why I tried this one.

Outstanding!! This is a phenomenally delicious alternative to the standard slow cooker pot roast!

Sounded way better than it tasted, and the sauce came out just waaaayyyyyy too greasy. I made it in the slow cooker, so maybe if I do decide to try again, I'll braise it instead. Maybe that will help. Otherwise, this recipe is headed to the garbage can.

A great dish that was easy to prepare. I used my " slow cooker ", the meat was "falling off the bone " delicious ! I tossed in mushrooms and that was a great addition. In a pinch substitute the " pickled jalapenos with pickled ( in jar cherry peppers/pickled hot peppers, both are very close in flavor to the jalapenos

This dish is amazing. It is now one of my favorites. I highly recommend you try it. It was easy. I used my crock pot and it came out perfect. My husband loved it!

Short ribs is my favorite as a good steak is my second. This dish was easy and beyond tasty. When it was done, even though it was so hot coming out of the pot, it didn't stop me from tasting this to die for dish. This will be in my rotation of dishes I'll make for company.
