It's a great approach to crock pot pork...gives it that little bit of a change up from regular pork roast, in between regular roast and BBQ pork. We have it over toasted bread on day two! Love it!!

I really only give this 1 star, the other is for how easy it was. Truly, putting this in the crockpot all day was a snap, and the pork turned out "fall apart"! I uses a very low end Picnic pork roast cut. I didn't do the potatos, just made rice seperately. The flavor was so bland, and a little on the gross side for some bites. NEVER will make this again.

I agree with the other bad comments. There is rarely a bad meal in my house and I was looking for a good pork crockpot recipe - THIS WAS NOT IT! My husband said it was the worst thing I had ever made! Still ate it but asked me not to make it again. The kids thought the potatoes were terrible. The meat was ok but the sauce made it gross. The sauce was watery and terrible! Don't make it!

I made this and it was totally inedible to me. My husband will eat most anything I make, so he did eat it, after he dumped some other condiments we have in the fridge on it. The pork texture/consistency was stringy and the flavors were...I do not want to think about this anymore! =(

I saw Robin prepare this meal on her show and I had to try it because it looked so delicious and convenient. Convenient it was, but delicoius it was not. I should have read the reviews first, but I trusted the 4 star rating. I will not be making this again. I salvaged the pork by pulling it and eating it on salads, but the potatoes and onions went in the trash. It was pretty disappointing.

Even though I cooked it for 4 hours on high, my potatoes did not cook through, my sauce was too bland and watery, and my pork turned out tough. The reason for the toughness may be that I used tenderloin instead of another cut, but I followed the recipe for the rest. My 19-month old twin boys devored it, but they were the only ones. If I were to try this again, I would omit the water, cook on slow, and use another type of roast.

I made the mistake of taking note of the "four star" rating without reading any of the reviews. Had I read the reviews beforehand I would not have made this recipe. One consolation: it was not an expensive dish to prepare. I salvaged the pork by making "pork tacos" on flour tortillas.

Luckily the pork was OK, but the rest was not good AT ALL!

This is the last time I try one of Robin's recipes. This is about the 5th recipe I have tried of hers and it was absolutely gross! All of her food is very bland, this sweet and sour pork was no exception. I just wasted a lot of money on this meal and we can't eat it. My 17 year old son, who eats everything in site, hated it.

The concept of Robin's show is great... but her food sucks. I feel sorry for her family if this is the stuff she cooks for them. YUCK!

I don't normally write recipe reviews, but I had to comment on this one. The combination of the potatoes and sauce was awful. My husband didn't even know they were potatoes - he thought they were pineapples! I ended up tossing everything but the pork. I would not recommend this recipe.
