The sauce was a little thin, but the flavor was great and the meat was very tender. It came apart with a fork. I would use only 3/4 cup water in the future, but I definately recommend the recipe.

I ate two bites of this roast. This roast came out super dry and the potatoes were still under cooked. I cook this dish for 3 hours on high. I would recommend a minimum of four hours on high! The meat had very little favor to it.

I was disappointed with this recipe. I halved the recipe and it seemed that the onions were overpowering. I have to admit that I haven't liked onions cooked in the slow cooker.

Made this dish when I invited my parents over. We liked it, but it wasn't quite as expected. There was too much liquid. I tried to thicken it back up with more katchup. Next time I think I will add less water and leave out the potatoes and serve over rice. The BBQ pork sandwiches made from left over pork are great!

It was ok--that's all. I will not waste precious cooking time on this recipe again. The sandwiches may be better. We'll see tomorrow night.

My family really liked this dish, and I loved how easy it was to put together. Like other reviewers, I wouldn't say it was a sweet and sour dish, more of a BBQ sauce taste really, but still good. I also used less water than called for.

This is a quick fix meal and very easy. Put it together in the morning and enjoy it later after hard days work.
