Leftover steak that was already cooked? Soy sauce and corn syrup? These were NOT fajitas, overcooked meat and sweet and sour sauce. I don't know what to call them but gross.
Fajitas are quick, simple and delicious made authentically (and yes, can be preprepped No need for this abomination.

Excellent fajitas! Will definitely make again. DID NOT LIKE the jamaican jerk marinade for the original steak, so I used a new flank steak for these and they turned out great. Excellent concept, the meal kits. Will try more!

This is better than our favorite Mexican restaurant's fajitas. The secret is to cook the steak and veggies in a cast iron skillet. My husband and I cooked it on our grill side burner and added fajita seasoning as it cooked, stirring occasionally. There's alot of liquid that needs to cook off, so it needs to be cooked at a high heat, but it comes out so delicious and flavorful. We'll definitely be making this again when we have our friends over.

This whole approach to getting dinner on the table during the week is like a dream come true.
People may not like the shortcuts, but for me, it's perfect.
My husband and 13 yr old daughter cleaned their plates, AND there were lots of veggies.

I love Fajitas and have never made them with such great flavor, until now. I didn't do the jerk marinade that she used first for the flank steak, but I used a Fajita seasoning pack and then did the rest of what the recipe called for. They were great and very easy. A family pleaser.

Great idea of smashing the avacados in the ziplock baggie. So much better and easier!

I can't believe how good this was! It was so fast to whip up, but tasted like I had spent the day in the kitchen. I made black beans with onion, cumin, cilantro and shallots along with it.
