I made this recipe last night and it was delicious. My husband told me this is definitely one that he wants to have again. He happily took the leftovers for lunch today! I did add extra ginger and garlic since we both love the combination!

It's amazing how such simple ingredients combine to make such a yummy stir-fry. The only thing I added was a bit of sesame oil. The garlic and ginger give it a nice flavor. I served it with Robin's Nutty Basmati Rice, and that was the perfect combo, because the rice adds extra flavor to the dish. I thought the whole meal was simple and wonderful.

I love this recipe. I have used shrimp instead of chicken and it is great.

The Chicken Stir Fry with the Almond Rice was really good. I bought a packet of Kikkoman stir fry mix as my add in to this recipe. I used a jasmine rice
instead of the basmati. The almonds were a delicious add that I would have
never thought of adding to this rice dish. I say this because I don't really
like peanuts or peanut sauces with Asian dishes. If you're looking for a truly asian style stir fry taste this is not the recipe, but if you're looking for an american inspired stir fry this is your the recipe for you.

Robin's recipes are great for those of us in the real world who work, take care of both generations of our families, and volunteer in our communities. You thought it was bland--stop whining and just kick it up a notch. You don't like her expression--go watch Giada, who grins like a demented shark. This isn't group therapy!

I'll use more ginger next time (a lot more! and I noticed someone had added chili sauce - I might do that, too. But the concept is great. I prepped all the veggies one morning and throwing dinner together was a breeze. I think her ideas are terrific. I'm single and I have to cut the quantities way down but it still works for me. I'm taping all the shows. I might have to work on some of the seasonings, but this is a cooking style I can live with!! Thanks, Robin!
