Horrible! I threw the whole thing out. The squash was burned and mushy. Don't cook it in the slow cooker. Try pressure cooking it or baking it in the oven.

Absolutely delicious!! I love spaghetti squash to begin with. The diced tomato - olives - oregano mixture tastes really good. My squash cooked perfectly. I was a little hesitant to add tuna to the finished product. It was edible, but I probably would leave it off next time. Instead of string cheese I used shredded mozzarella, since that's what I had on hand, and string cheese is mozzarella anyway. The fresh basil over the top takes it to the max. I can hardly wait to eat the leftovers tomorrow. I will definitely make this again.

The idea intrigued me, but without liquid (the few ounces of olive juice Robin added were insignificant the squash didn't cook too well. I used a larger crockpot and cooked it for 6 hours. I didn't add the tuna or string cheese, but I did add feta cheese. More interesting.

This is probably one of the weirdest mixture of ingredients I've tried, but I went w/ it, omitting the tuna (warm canned tuna is repulsive to me. The ingredients did not jive well at all. I could barely finish the one half. I threw the other half away. The cooking method of putting it in the crock pot is good, but I would suggest other toppings.

OMGosh, loved the squash, to cook it in the crockpot was great and easy, instead of the olive juice I used Italian dressing, and added the diced can tomatoes, when it was done, i found tht it was moist, soft and full of flavor, I covered it with regular meat sauce and the meal was the best- gonna make it again

Listen, squash in itself is not a very tasty veggie, but it is one of the best for you. You can cook squash like regular spaghetti, i.e. the same ingredients, but it won't guarantee it will taste like it. Spaghetti with olives, capers, tomato sauce and anchovies is a "puttanesca" sauce. I think that is probably what she was trying to accomplish. The way I make spaghetti squash "quickly" for lunch is to halve it (or keep it whole if it is a small squash, and then cover with a paper towel, and throw it in the microwave on high (depending on how your mw works, it could take anywhere from 10-15 mins. I think "fork" it through and the strands will lift up. You can put butter and parmesan cheese on it or you can put butter and cinnamon and maple syrup on it like a traditional squash. Tuna and squash really are not a winning combo and the tomatos and "string" (ugh cheese are not very compatible with the rest of the ingredients. Nice try though.

I have to try this! Sometime...... although I would probably use farm fresh ingredients! And use chicken instead of tuna! My family hates tuna..... Thanks for sharing! :

I love this recipe. It's inexpensive and easy to prepare, which are musts in recipes being a new mom. My husband loves it. Thank you Robin!

This combination of flavors was very unusual, but it tasted good together. My husband and I enjoyed it.

Robin's hair is lackluster but this recipe shines. I found it interesting how people either hated the recipes or loved it . I am in the latter. I've wanted to find a different spaghetti squash recipe and here it is .The tomato broth with the olives etc breaks down the spaghetti squash to make a savory mixture. Nothing gets in the way and everything complements the main vegetable. Cooking with the crock pot was a great idea. The tuna and the cheese match with olives and the brothy finish to the squash is superb. I have not idea what the people who did not like this dish are talking about it. Everything worked and I am very happy I made it .
