This could not have been an easier cookie to bake! They are the perfect Christmas cookie! They are beautiful and delicious! You can't beat that! These were the hit of the cookie swap! Everyone wanted the recipe!

Don't waste your time and money on these cookies! They were impossible to slice even though I left them in the refrigerator overnight after adding the nuts and cherries. I decided to bake them as drop cookies, but they flattened out too much. They were difficult to dip in the chocolate since they were so flat and fragile. Rather than using the prepared sugar cookie dough, you might try using your favorite chocolate chip recipe and substitute the pistachios and cherries for the choc. chips and regular nuts.

This is the second time I have made these. Rave reviews from co-workers. I found rolling dough up in wax paper -to refrigerator over night made slicing cookie dough easy and quick.Marie

I decided to make these around the holidays as they looked festive and seemed easy to make. I made a bunch of different cookies and EVERYBODY loved these!!! They were the first to go. I drizzled the white chocolate on top of each cookie and that provided just enough sweetness. I have made these a few times now and they are a quick, easy, and delicious treat. Nobody has to know how easy they are to make. Thanks Robin.

I made this for Christmas, some dipped in the white chocolate and some not. The were EXCELLENT! And they last several weeks in a sealed container.

I made these cookies for work and not only were they easy and fast, the entire plate was cleared! I made 3 varieties including milk chocolate chips and semi-sweet chips.

I made these with dried cranberries rather than cherries. They were hard to slice, so I ended up forming them into balls for the first batch. These didn't spread out enough, so I flattened the rest and they came out pretty great!

The recipe I copied off called for an 8 ounce cookie dough, so with the added ingredients, it could not be cut. Had to make drop cookies. I, too, drizzled the white chocolate instead of dipping. Not sure this is a "keeper." I've made better.

These turned out yummy. I used a mix of dried fruits - cranberries, blueberries, raspberries and cherries. I also followed the suggestion here to drizzle the white chocolate on instead of dipping. Worked out great. I used the store-bought cookie dough and took them out a teeny bit early so they would stay nice and soft. Nice quick way to make "homemade" cookies that is yummy and easy.
