This would have been a better recipe of made from scratch rather then using that awful fridge dough.

these taste great but the dough is very hard to slice I ended up making drop cookies and just drizzled the white chocolate over the cookie.

I made these cookies to give away to teachers and such as Christmas gifts. Unfortunately, they never made it that long!! I had to go and buy more ingredients to make up for the ones we ate! These are so yummy! I used a whole cookie roll, not half...that has to be an error. I bought the pre-shelled pistacios which was a huge time saver. The second batch, I added chocolate chunks to the recipe and they tasted like chocolate covered cherry cookies and were soooo good. My friends LOVED them! I didn't dip the cookies in the white chocolate because it made them too sweet and it was all you could taste...I just drizzled a little of it over the cookie and it was much better. The key is not to overcook these. They're perfect when they're just a tad underdone.

These cookies were a huge hit! However they were extremly sweet withthe store bought cookie dough. Next time I will make them with homemade cookie dough or not frost them with the white chocolate. Otherwise they are AWESOME!!!

Another reviewer said she would try the recipe using a whole tube of sugar cookie dough instead of one half. I followed her suggestion and the cookies worked out great! My husband really liked them. I think the 8oz listed in the recipe is a typographical error for the 18oz that is the standard size of a tube of cookie dough.

I followed the recipe after watching the show. It sure looked easy. Once I shelled and chopped the pistachios (which was not that easyI tried to incorporate the ingredients in 1/2 of a sugar cookie roll which was 8 oz. The ingredients were so thick that it was impossible to slice, so I ended up making drop cookies. They were fine and tasted great, but by the next day they were rather hard.
If I try this again, I will use the whole roll of dough with the same amount of ingredients, make sure I have a chopper to chop the nuts and will forgo the white chocolate dip.
