I LOVE this cookie, and so does my family. I used pecans instead of pistachios. I also dipped just the tip of the cookie in the white chocolate to keep it from being too sweet. Perfect!

I tried these cookies twice. Once as written with the pre-made cookie dough from the store then with a homemade sugar cookies recipe I had perfected myself. I recommend the recipe, but make your own sugar cookie dough. I also added more dried cherries in mine as well. YUM!!! They were a hit at Christmas.

How much easier can baking get?! These are yummy - my daughter's boyfriend kept coming out to the kitchen and "stealing" them as I was making them! Good thing I rolled the store-bought refrigerated dough out larger than recipe called for!! I used the dried cherries and the pistachios, left out the dipping in white chocolate (thought it would be too sweet and they were a HUGE hit! Next time I will drizzle white chocolate like another panelist suggested. Try them, you'll love 'em!

This was a great cookie, especially considering that I couldn't get the chocolate to melt and I used cranberries in place of the cherries. Wonderful flavors that are even better the next day. So easy to make and pretty to look at with the red and green colors.

This is a very simple recipe, but offers the look and taste of a gourmet cookie! I doubled the amount of cookie dough (16 oz. and still had a lot of dried cherries and pistachios in each cookie. I also had some difficulty with the white chocolate being too thick and added 1 tbsp. of shortening for a thinner consistency...it also gave the chocolate a nicer glossy look.

I really enjoyed these cookies, although I only got eight, big cookies out of the dough for some reason. I thought I had followed the directions exactly. Next time, I'm not going to roll it into a log because it was difficult to keep the cherries and nuts in even after I chilled the dough again. I may do cut-outs and then press the cherries and nuts into them. Also, I used macadamia nuts instead of pistachios and they tasted really nice.

I used a prepared sugar dough from my local grocery store and mixed chopped pecans and orange flavored dried cranberries. The dipping was no problem; I melted the chocolate in the microwave. The cookie itself was divine; moist, buttery, crumbly, and both sweet and slightly tart and chewy. My new favorite Christmas cookie! And quite easy!

This was so easy and added a lot of flavor and holiday cheer to regular sugar cookie dough.
