I don't like left over turkey so normally it gets tossed by the second day after the holiday. One can only eat so many turkey sandwiches. This is a great way to add moisture back to turkey and have a healthy meal to boot. I didn't have any chicken stock, fresh or boxed. What I did was use some sodium free chicken bullion and a can of reduced sodium creme of chicken soup. Never knew it wasn't fresh stock. My 5 year old who doesn't like soup ate the egg noodles and vegies without the broth and loved it. AWESOME recipe. Thank you so much. I always felt wasteful tossing the turkey and now I have found the answer. I will make this again at Christmas and any time I make turkey.

I use this all the time. Most of the time I just buy a cooked chicken at the supermarket and use that. It's great on a cold night.

I used leftover cooked chicken from a whole cooked one I bought at Costco. Of course It would of been even better if I had made homemade broth. But for a quick weekenight meal the boxed broth worked out great. I also used a few sprigs of fresh thyme. I will make this agian.

I'm not sure which I look forward to more - the Thanksgiving meal, or this soup as leftovers. I make it year round with chicken, and always make it with leftover turkey. Thanks Robin!

A nice way to use leftover Turkey. This was a simple and delicious soup and I would agree that chicken could be substituted for the Turkey. I used fresh thyme as I have heard that whenever possible use fresh over dried herbs. Even the leftover soup seemed to taste better when the flavors have married even further. A repeat.

I have attempted to make turkey soup before and was always very disappointed. This recipe was a quick fix, easy, and delicious. I did not have one ounce of turkey go to waste and my husband and I enjoyed this tasty soup for several meals. Hats off to Robin. I love your show.

I did this with chicken and it was wonderful. All my friends loved it, especially with some easy cheese toast.
