I was excited to make this because it looked so good on the show. It looked great in the pot, but there was absolutely no flavor! Yuck.

I really love crock pot type recipes and I usually love Robin's however, this recipe was pretty bland and boring...not a whole lot of flavor and not worth the trouble. I love each of the items separately but they didn't work together...sorry!

Just bought a new slow cooker and had to try this recipe. I used the broth produced by the veggies to make a millet /quinoa side dish. I also used spike to season the chicken. I used a moulinex grinder for the garlic and rosemary so it integrated perfectly into the dish. I added garam masala to the leftovers as well as chicken broth to make a hearty Indian soup. Fantastic!!!

The only seasonings added to this was salt and pepper. It lacked flavor and the chicken breasts were too dry

I was extremely disappointed in this recipe. I used less rosemary than the recipe called for but it still overpowered the chicken. I didn't like the fennel & rosemary combination at all. I ended up throwing away the whole meal. It might have tasted better if I had used much less rosemary & possibly a canned, diced tomato. I didn't want to try it though because I already felt I wasted enough food. I wish I'd taken the time to read the other reviews before I made it. Next time I will.

I love this recipe because it works out to be two recipes in one you can eat the chicken with the dressing in the bottom and then instead of throwing the rest of the meal away you can have soup as well or have soup at the same time you are eating the chicken. Not to mention it is super easy to make you throw all the ingredients in the crok pot and you have the rest of the day to either work or clean house. PERFECT

This recipe looked so good when I watched Robin on TV. For some reason there were some unusual tastes going on (maybe the fennel? that I really wasn't used to. Unfortunately my husband and my kids didn't care for it either so we won't be making it again. The chicken was moist and soft but bland as well.

Loved it! Thru the ingredients that I had on hand in the crock pot Saturday night for a Sunday after church meal. We did use frozen spinach and left out the fennel. But, next time we will try fennel for the first time ever. Also, use dry and navy beans, just boiled them first and then thru them in the crock pot.

I am not quite sure what other people did wrong but I thought this dish was soo good. I put everythng in pot in the morning and when I returned home eight hours later dinner was served!!! My hubby and 7 year old loved it. This is a quick no fuss meal that is healthy and delicous to boot. If you add extra ingredients like bacon drippings and proscuitto then that adds extra fat and time so it's kinda like whats the point. My family likes it just the way it is. Thanks Robin for another home run!!! You make my life easier!

An easy and nutritious comfort food, but not one I would cook repeatedly.
