Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other raters. This was ok, I didn't throw it out, but it wasn't fantastic. I'd try one of Robin's other delicious dinners.

This was so easy to prepare. It was surprizingly complex in flavor, yet low fat and full of nutrients. Next time I might use more rosemary.

Easy, very tasty and healthy. Rarely can you get all three!

This was a pretty good recipe, but I have found better on the website. I substituted 1.5 TBSP of fennel seeds rather than the bulb b/c our local grocery store was out of fennel. It still tasted great. I cooked it for 6.5 hours over low, and that was more than enough. The chicken was falling off the bone. My husband loved the beans, onions and swiss chard, but I just went for the chicken. We used the leftovers for a salad the next day and the chicken's flavors got much better overnight.

I really liked this recipe. It had alot of different flavors that I would not normally have. I added a bit less rosemary then the recipe called for. It was also super easy.

I was pleasantly surprised by this recipe. I had never cooked fennel before and was worried when I noticed that, when raw, it smells a bit like liquorice (which I do not like. Cooked, it was buttery and great. I didn't have any fresh rosemary or the other herb so instead I used dried rosemary and thyme. I also used frozen diced white onions for convenience instead of red onions.

My only complaint with this recipe is the bones-on chicken breast. Most of the bones fell off in the cooking process except the small rib bones. The result was that every now and again, you'd bite into a soft bit of chicken and get a bone. Or, you'd scoup up some beans and veggies and get more bones. Very irritating.

As I watched Robin prepare this I thought it looked very interesting and delicious. I was unpleasanly surprised. It smelled horrible and tasted even worse. I think it must have been the swiss chard. My husband and I are very adventurous eaters and like all things.
I would be very leery of buying or using swiss chard again. I would however try othes recipes of Robin's.

This was so aweful I couldn't even eat it. The rosemary was waaaay to overpowering - it tasted like a Christmas tree! Sure it scored 3 stars for an overall rating but the ones who scored it high clearly stated how much they altered the recipe.

I added three tablespoons of olive oil to the recipe. It was a hit and wanted more. I cooked it on low for 5 hours rather than the 6-8 recommended.
