This is a great flavorful soup when you are tired of eating meat entrees.
I especially liked the cornbread.

I made this on a very cold day! I did however add one pound ground beef. I did not put in the lima beans and couscous. It was very good, but my husband thought it was a little bland. I will try it again ~ adding something give it that little something.

I did like this Chilli. My three year old didn't care for it. Too many beans I think. She doesn't eat much of anything lately though. I added ground beef too it but other than that I stuck to the recipe. I will probably make this again.

We loved it! I tweaked it a little due to what was and what was not in my pantry (used red peppers instead of green, different mix of beans, didn't have enough canned tomatoes, so added some fresh chopped up and it worked great! Loved the couscous at the end.

This recipe was easy, and surprisingly good. My daughter is a vegetarian, and my husband is pure carnivore, so they are not so easy to cook for. My daughter was truly amazed, and took most of it back to her apartment in the city to re-heat for lunches. I served this over chopped cooked boneless chicken for my husband, and he loved the flavor. It made quite a lot - this chili is very filling - so I would say it feeds more than 4 to 6 people.

I made this mostly for myself but even my meat eating family adored it. Definately a good choice for new vegetarians as it has lots of flavor. You won't even miss the meat.

I had some other ingredients on hand, so I added dices sweet potatoes, corn, and leftover roasted chicken I shredded. I left out the lima beans and canellini beans simply for convenience. The dish was a hit with my whole family, the sweet potatoes really added an awesome depth of flavor and sweetness. So easy to make and delicious.

Delicious! Didn't have 4 hours for the slow cooker so I prepared it on the stove. Ready in 1 hour. Very easy, quick, hearty, healthy meal. Left out the hot sauce because my chili powder was Mexican-style and still quite spicy. Also left out the lima beans. My family really enjoyed the texture added by the couscous. Serve with sour cream.
