Everyone loved this easy recipe. I had no problem with falling apart wontons. I used egg to seal with and squeezed, checking for holes. Since the package of wontons left over was large, I made crab ragoons as a side dish with them (just cream cheese, scallions, and canned crab meat in wontons fried in oil. It was a kid pleasing meal!

i really can't stand the way she makes wontons.. i think i can make better wontons when I was 10 years old. they weren't even sealed properly. I've never seen anyone makes wontons w/ cooked pork, the filling won't stay together properly.

Great tasting soup... has a strong sesame oil flavor, so if you don't like it, you should probably steer away from this soup. It is very easy to make however, though my wontons fell apart in the pot because I packed the wrappers too full. Oh well, it'll be better next time. Definately top with green onions!

The pork from the recipe from last night made an excellent filling. Filling the wontons does take some practice and if you seal the properly with water then they don't fall apart, plus you only cook them for 4-5 minutes. I have to say the filling was very very good, and the soup was simple, better than my favorite chinese take-out.

Like the previous reviewer, my won tons also fell apart, otherwise soup was flavorful.
